Local Property Tax Review – Have your say!

Posted on: March 15th, 2018

Let’s deliver fairer property tax.

I’m organising a submission to the review of the local property tax. You can have your say below.

Local Property Tax (LPT) is currently levied on all homeowners based on a self-assessment of the market value of their home in 2013. Property values have risen hugely since then, overwhelmingly due to market factors over which homeowners have no control. Without a change in how LPT is levied, homeowners in south Dublin will face huge jumps in tax liability when house values are reassessed in 2019.

Use the below form to tell me your views, and I will bring them directly to the cabinet table for consideration in Budget 2019.
